As a trauma therapist, I teach this breath everyday. How have I never thought to apply it to menopause symptoms?! Thank you for such a wonderful reminder.
Aaaah…the power of this gift we have at our fingertips many of us don’t appreciate. Thank you for the gentle reminder. My morning has started beautifully. The long exhale is absolutely my favourite. And I love this - Breath gives you an anchor in this liminal space. A way to return to yourself when everything else is shifting. It so does. Anita xx
This piece seems to be focused on breathing, so they why did you have to wrap it in the packaging of fat loss? Are we really not at the point where we can stop pushing that as women's main concern? I encourage you to rethink your title and cover photo and the message you're sending to women.
I've been at the forefront of addressing women's concerns for over 30 years. For various reasons, weight gain remains a concern and will continue to be so as long as we remain unaware of its root causes. I've said for decades now that being overweight is a symptom of something deeper. Something that can (but not always) be detrimental to health. I aim to point to the cause(s) to support and empower women to engage in true self-care.

You are most welcome.
This breathing technique is how I put myself to sleep every night. Three or four deep breaths and I’m out.
It is a very powerful (and simple) practice. Thank you for sharing.

LOVING YOUR TIPS; and passing them forwards, as a feral MD turned rogue ✨🧐✨
Thank you and best wishes in your feral pursuits. I admire and appreciate that level of resolution.
